For the past 4+ years, I've been creating with diverse teams. That showed me what brings people together.
During my work with startups, I learned how to fill the required gaps and step up as a leader when needed.
Before

I started my design journey with architecture, and I first learned visual design and teamwork.
My focus shifted to user psychology during my master's. I saw the importance of testing early and frequently, and had the opportunity to explore cognitive psychology.
Violin
Dedication, Discipline
I started playing the violin when I was 7, and this taught me that whatever thing you put your time and energy into, will improve.
I remember practicing the basics for the first 15 years, and only after that did I realize the fun of making music. Good things take time.
Aikido
Self Control, Stress Management
I remember when I first started the class, I could barely control my breath. However, the point was to move with the ki (energy) so that you can allow forces to pass through you.
This made me realize that whatever happens in life, accepting and moving with it will take me where I need to be.

Gratitude, Acceptance
Framing surroundings in a way that brings joy made me realize I am actually surrounded by limitless beauty. Whatever is present around can be interpreted as anything I want it to be.
Just need to pick how I frame and where I stand.

I was born and raised in İzmir, Turkey, and did my master's in the USA. This made me realize how our thinking is shaped just because we speak a certain language.
I arrived there without knowing anyone there. Enduring that type of a change made me realize I can handle whatever life throws at me as long as I am dedicated.
